For your enjoyment the Palencia Club offers many opportunities to participate at the Club enjoying both traditional country club attire as well as casual and comfortable attire, including our relaxed Palencia Grille where denim is welcome. We appreciate everyone's support in keeping with the highest standards.
Generally speaking the Palencia Club's dress code is the traditional country club casual and smart casual after 5 p.m.
On the golf course the dress code is strictly enforced.
While dining in the Grille, you have the opportunity to dress more casually and enjoy denim.
Country Club Casual
Men: Shirts with collars, dress collarless shirts, or mock-neck shirts with sleeves, slacks, Bermuda-length golf shorts.
Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, Bermuda-length shorts with a golf shirt or blouse.
Smart Casual (after 5 p.m.)
Men: Shirts with collars or dress collarless shirts with sleeves and dress slacks – no shorts.
Women: Dresses, skirts, and slacks.
House Rules
- The Palencia Grille: Casual attire permitted - nice denim allowed. No swim suits permitted. Denim should be in good condition and not ragged or with holes.
- Members’ Bistro: Country Club Casual
- Golf Course: Proper golf attire required.
Attire not permitted by the Club on the Golf Course:
Denim, Blue jeans, sweat pants, cutoffs, short shorts or athletic shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, halter tops and bathing suits are not allowed on the Golf Course. Gentlemen are asked to remove hats in all Clubhouse dining and lounge areas.
We ask that cell phones not be used when in the formal dining areas and that consideration of others be considered at all times. No Smoking in Clubhouse by Florida Law.
